Featuring an 18 x 20 Thunderbolt configuration, the Universal Audio Apollo x16 Gen 2 Audio Interface has been designed to serve as a potent, first class hub for any demanding professional studio. This interface simply delivers the very best audio quality going alongside the highest level of flexibility going. With 16 analogue inputs and outputs supplied via DB-25 ports and full immersive audio support for anything up to 9.1.6, this model can pretty much do anything and does it all with an unrivalled level of clarity and a world-leading dynamic range. Thanks to the on-board HEX Core DSP, everything can be processed using UAD plugins in real-time, blending the power of analogue and digital audio production in one unit and lightening the load on your computer.
The Highest Production Level
This interface has been built for the most demanding producers and engineers, where the ability to work seamlessly with professional consoles and peripherals is crucial. The Apollo x16 also features UA's highest resolution A/D and D/A converters of all time, as well as Apollo Monitor Correction which is driven by Sonarworks® to guarantee high-precision monitoring, assuring users of flawless mix-to-system translation all the way from stereo to Dolby Atmos.
Future-Proof Expansion Options
The extensive library of over 200 UAD plugins coupled with the seamless integration support for all popular DAW titles lays out a smooth and near-effortless workflow whether recording, mixing or mastering. And, as your studio grows, so can the interface, since the Apollo X16 can be expanded by coupling multiple Thunderbolt Apollo interfaces, expanding both the channel number and the DSP power.
